América Hernández León
Case Manager
América Hernández León is originally from Mexico City. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the prestigious University of the Americas-Puebla (UDLAP), a Postgraduate in Studies of European Integration from the prestigious Mexican institute of higher education, specializing in teaching and researching in social sciences and humanities, “EL Colegio de México” (COLMEX), it is located in Mexico City and a Master’s Degree in Studies about United States of America from the UDLAP. The UDLAP is one of the most highly regarded private universities in Mexico. It is accredited in United States by SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. She was granted scholarships for all of her studies.
América is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian. She worked at James Dunn, PC Law Firm and several more; she has 15 years of experience in Immigration Law as a Paralegal, Client Liaison Director and Translator/Interpreter. She relocated to Atlanta from Chetumal, the capital of Quintana Roo State, México where she was a Full-Time Professor in the International Relations Department at the University of Quintana Roo, México. Also, she worked as Director of Quintana Roo’s Office in a Project for Guatemalan Refugees sponsored by the European Union (UE) and the Federal Mexican Government and she worked in the General Coordination at the “El Colegio de la Frontera Sur” (ECOSUR), a public institution of scientific research and graduate studies. All those experiences gave her the passion for understating diversity, inclusion, immigration, and integration in this global environment where we are living.
In 2020, América joined G. Briceno Law Firm as a Case Manager, where she provides excellent service to the firms’ international clientele enjoying and practicing her acquired experience in social sciences and humanities.
